A nice group of 100 from the original 57th Street Hoard. This lot was offered to “VIP” dealers only, and we were the successful bidders of nearly 5,000 of these hard-to-find early dates in the 1800s. No badly damages nor dark coins, and most are nice average circulated or better, with full dates. The reverses were typically weaker than the obverses during the early years, otherwise we would call these full G-VG. Some are, and some aren’t due to weaker reverse strikes. For those who are smart enough to buy both bullion and old collector’s coins at not too far above melt, these are the oldest and best on the market. You are bidding on a complete roll of 100 coins. Free surprise bonus with every lot. Please check out our other auctions for rare and one-of-kind coins, which is our specialty. CoinHappy has been in the mail order coin business since 1974 and online since 1996, longer than 99% of all mail order coin dealers. We maintain an inventory of more than $70 million, including most U.S. Coins as well as foreign and ancient coins in gold and silver.
