I bought this banjo from an auction at gardiner houlgate in Bath and it was part of an amazing collection. Considering its age it is in excellent condition. I have replaced the head with a new calf head and it has nylon strings but other than that appears to be original, although obviously I can't be sure. It was dated around 1910 but again I can't verify that. I have seen this model referred to as CE Special but that is going from the head badge design. I am happy to help with more pictures if you are trying to age it. The banjo sounds beautiful and is a pleasure to play. I have quite a high bridge on it at the moment but I will include the bridge it came with which is significantly lower as well. Because of the age of the banjo I would highly recommend viewing it and I will not be able to post it I'm afraid. Posted with eBay Mobile
