THIS ITEM IS A DELIGHTFUL John Grey & Sons of London Vintage Zither Banjo with 8 wire strings This instrument is in great condition and is a quality product . I think it is circa the 1930's and it has been kept in the original case ,which comes with the item, since new. The polished wood looks stunning and vellum is fine. There are five mother of pearl buttons on the fret which is also in unused condition. I am not sure which model this is but would assume it is played like a Ukulele Banjo as a four stringed instrument with the paired strings having the same tuning. I really don't know but I am sure somebody will tell me ! Just look at the photographs to identify the model I have a very low reserve and the first bid will put the item on sale to the HIGHEST BIDDER
