The front cover of the binding is a pebble grain beige, probably to simulate leather, with embossed stamped images of the three pigs. Viewing from the top down: The top little pig is playing a flute with musical notes around it. He may be dressed in an appropriate flute player outfit. The second little pig is playing a violin with the notes around it. He appears to be dressed in a little sailor suit. The third little pig has a trowel in his hand and is wearing overalls with the pant legs rolled up. This was the little pig in the tale who saved the others.Words placed strategically around the highly animated pigs emphasize one benefit from saving money: We Save Our Coins - So Who s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?The protective cover corners are in brass. The spine of the book has no title but the spine has embossed rules suggesting seven spine panels which many well bound books do have.
