Louise makes it easy for young ladies to get Barbie's arms into the outfit as well as close up the outfit (velcro). The clothes are sturdy and long lasting--made for hours and hours of play. Some of these dresses have lasted so long they have been passed down to the next generation. Louise has made Barbie Doll clothes for fifty plus years, since 1960. She is 91 years old (soon to be 92 in December 2012) and makes these clothes to supplement her income. I am trying to help her sell some of them since she is now too old to go to shows and sell. They all have velcro fasteners and are made from material and lace remnants Louise has purchased at garage sales.
