Barbie Dresses FIVE USA OKLA Made by 90 year old Lot 275 Dress HANDMADE Oklahoma. These doll clothes are loved by little girls. Louise makes it easy for young ladies to get Barbie's arms into the outfit as well as close up the outfit (velcro). The clothes are sturdy and long lasting--made for hours and hours of play. Some of these dresses have lasted so long they have been passed down two generations. There will be fivedifferent pieces in each lot of dresses--some are two pieces to a set (matchingcoats and/or robes). Louise has made Barbie Doll clothes for fifty plus years, since 1960. She is 92 years old, makes these clothes to occupy her time, and reinvests the money she makes to sew more Barbie clothes. Believe it or not, but Lou does not need glasses to thread the needle on her sewing machine! She is now too old to go to shows and sell so I am selling them for her on eBay. We have made great friends from all over the world selling these clothes and I have started a notebook with all the emails, cards and letters received. The buyers of Lou's dresses have made an impact on her quality of life (mentally and physically) and Gary and I thank each and every one of you for that. They all have velcro fasteners and are made from material and lace remnants Louise has purchased at garage sales. The dresses have lace and material both front and back (I add this statement after buying a doll dress from China - the lace LIKE material was only in the front and the back was made of a paper-like substance). When I contacted the Chinese seller telling them the dress straps did not go over Barbie's head they replied "remove Barbie's head." If for some reason you are dissatisfied with the dresses you purchase, please let me know and they will either be replaced or a refund will be submitted to your PayPal Account. Please take at look at the end of this listing for feedback received on these dresses. Lou turned 91 on 12/12/11, but I am keeping the title of made by 90 year old so some of you all can keep track of her clothes when listed. I just found out that the trim on each dress is half a yard each time Lou adds trim. If there are two layers of trim, then it is a yard. (After learning this fact Gary and I bought Lou trim for her Christmas present--her eyes sparkled when she opened the box.) Please do not ask me to switch dresses from one lot to another. This requires me to take down the listings, swap dresses, take new pictures and relist. The dresses are sold "as is" in the lots they are already in. Fast free shipping.
