DESCRIPTION: This is 3 pieces from a very hard to find 1968 Sears Exclusive Gift Set #1551 called Diner Dazzle. The pieces are: a satiny hot pink blouse with Tricot ruffled trim and rhinestone buttons; a sparkly pink and green lame’ skirt; and JAPAN hot pink closed pointed toe heels. DIMENSIONS: Fits 11-1/2” Barbie and similar size dolls. CONDITION: Everything is like it was just taken out of the package and never played with or put on a doll, however, the blouse has a couple of “bleached out” spots on the front that may be due to a poorly applied fabric dye (factory flaw?). They are hard to notice, and especially hard to capture in the photos. Therefore, I will call the blouse a 9 out of a 10. The skirt is NEAR MINT, except it could use a shot of steam from an iron to make it lie flat. Also, I do not see a thread button loop for the back waist button, nor a place where it ever was. Neither clothing piece is tagged, because I believe the jacket to the suit was the item that had the tag. This is a nice outfit by itself. Even without the other two pieces (jacket and pair of hose), it will still completely clothe your doll! I can’t imagine trying to get a coat over those ruffled sleeves anyway.
