I charge approximately 40 cents for a new box (depending on the size of the item shipped) and any packing materials so your item will arrive clean and in good condition. For international bidders only , I need to explain something. In order to offer you inexpensive, first class rates on postage, I charge the 40 cents for a new box - the same as I do domestic - plus another $1.10 . The $1.10 is for two reasons: I self-insure for lost and damaged packages less than $50.00 AND the extra time involved in processing international shipments. That eliminates the necessity to only offer Priority International rates ($18 to $30 depending on your country). So, I see this as a positive policy . PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER THE PLACEMENT OF AN AMOUNT ON MY AUCTIONS IF YOU THINK THIS IS NOT MORE THAN REASONABLE TO CHARGE FOR S&H. THAT IS TURNING SOMETHING I SEE AS A POSITIVE, THAT I DO TO HELP MY INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS, INTO SOMETHING NEGATIVE FROM THE VERY PEOPLE I AM TRYING TO HELP. A seller's feedback rating affects the final value fees they pay. I consider the fact that I do not require you to pay the very expensive Priority Shipping rates, (WHICH PROTECTS ME!) but ONLY add the extra $1.10 to protect YOU, be incredibly reasonable. Yes, it protects my international bidders when they buy something relatively inexpensive from these VERY expensive priority mail fees plus offers them an assurance that they will not be out their hard-earned money AND have no item. Additionally, so that those of you who do not already know, first class international CAN NOT BE INSURED OR TRACKED, only priority mail can be. Plus, all in all, I have had more international packages lost than domestic. So again, please do not 10 handling fee that is my way of continuing to ship inexpensively to international friends. Bidding is voluntary, not forced. It is your choice to decide BEFORE you bid if you think my auctions are reasonable. Also, please note that the computer-generated customs forms will show ACTUAL winning bid amount that is calculated by eBay based on the final amount bid. I love my non-USA friends, but not enough to break the law, even if I could change the amount. Domestic , I will obtain delivery confirmation numbers on items and will forward that number to you when I ship. Please ask any questions that you may have.
