Vintage Barbie Doll Swingin’ Easy #955 (1963) All Original and Complete Ensemble/ Outfit Green & White Floral Print Dress with snap and ties on back , Green attached Grosgrain Ribbon Waistband and two hanging tiesWhite Vinyl Clutch Purse with gold closurePearl Drop Necklace with gold metal chain and hookBlack Open Toe Heels one marked Japan The dress is in perfect condition... colors are vibrant and no seams are ripped or torn, no discolorations on the cotton fabric: the green grosgrain wiastband is still green in color.... slight brown discoloration about 3/4 inch on top tie below loop.... perhaps from a hot iron... the clutch purse is in perfect shape -- no rips or missing parts the pearl necklace is white and the gold metal has no discoloration... closing loop intact. Black shoes are authentic... and Japan marked on one... ALL these pieces are from ONE OWNER from the early 1960's and stored in a safe and clean environmnent. "This is the green version of Let’s Dance #978 (1960- 1962) (which was blue). The two ensembles are identical other than color. The green dress is much more rare. It is very hard to find in mint condition as often the fabric and the grosgrain has discolored and the back ties are missing . Mattel issued a Swinging' Easy reproduction in 2008.
