- Stormy Monday PAF humbucker pickups by Bare Knuckle Pickups- Matched set. Bridge output 7.8k, Neck output 7.2k- Virtually brand new - extremely little use- Nickel covers (black coils underneath should you wish to remove the covers)This Alnico II set has a beautifully balanced PAF tone. They take drive surprisingly well and are perfect for blues and classic rock tones. This particular set is unpotted. The resulting tone is incredibly touch sensitive and makes expressive blues soloing easy! A non wax potted pickup would normally produce microphonic feedback, but Bare Knuckle Pickups specialise in this and as such their pickups are particularly feedback resistant when unpotted like this one. Try it and you'll be amazed! You probably won't look back. Of course they can still be wax potted if you prefer but you'll need to send them off.I bought this set to try out in my Les Paul last year, and although the tone is great for blues and classic rock, they're not quite up to AC/DC tones etc so not really what I was looking for. They been sat in their box since then. If I had another guitar then I'd put them in that instead but unfortunately I don't so they're up for sale.Posted with eBay Mobile
