Hi, this is for a 1 week old Bark River Custom KSF machete with black & red tigerstripe G-10 handles. I have decided to put this up also, ( along with the Kephart I have listed separately )... This is a fantastic, solid tool, this cuts & chops easily ( I have ownd a bark golok, canadian camp,rogue & hudson bay + many other camp knives ) & this just cuts amazingly well. it feels solid but is light in the hand, the handle is superb... I have cut a little vegitation & done some chopping on some 2x8 pine boards & nothing seems to affect this, well except for nails....this has & holds a razor sharp edge but I did hit a nail on accident when I went out to use this one more time, it dented the edge a tiny bit, (see photo) up near the curve to the tip, it's very minor & could easily be worked out..it is actually amazing how little it did to it, I hit a convexed kershaw outcast once in a similar way & it took a chunk out of the blade. Bark River just has a way with knives. This looks excellent overall, a few light scratches etc. blade is perfect except for the one spot. The sheath is excellent also, great quality & fit, near new, just a couple of light marks from moving it around...
