Well, I am sorry to report to all of you who have sent me countless emails and inquires on the old barn that I have been taking apart little by little-her days are numbered. The roof finally caved in on the south-southeast corner of the barn. Thus causing the whole roof to shift and collapse. I was still able to go in and get some pictures. I will try to email all of you who have boughten items from this old relic pictures of the tragedy. However, somehow, someway, as I was surveying the damage from inside the barn I just so happened to get a glance of the floor in front of the manger and t it sat! I don't know how or why but the cupola, which is perched on the highest point of the entire barn, made it all the way to the ground. Through broken boards, nails, lag bolts, and falling beams it managed to go unscaved of so much as even a scratch! Don't ask me.?!. I couldn't believe it myself. I had a hard enough time believing what I was actually looking at. Maybe stranger things have happened, yes? But this was 1 of the few items that illuded me as time ticked by on the old structure-HOW CAN I GET THAT CUPOLA DOWN FROM THAT ROTTING ROOF? Well, I guess all my concerns were answered by someone or something. I'll leave it at that. Anyhow, it is. Yeah, I know she has a few swiss cheese markings on her- I ain't complaining!
