1901 BARNUM & BAILEY Circus Train CABINET PHOTO, Germany Hello, is an amazing, original mammoth size cabinet card photogragh of the Barnum & Bailey Circus train and crew in Bremen, Germany in 1901 . The circus was on an European tour. This photo came from the estate of one of the men who helped run the circus on that tour. The card mount has been trimmed but it does not appear the photo was trimmed. The card measures 15.5" x 12.75" and the photo measures 15.25" x 11.5" . Wonderful sepia image of circus car, old posters advertising the circus and workers ready to put up the tent. Written on bottom edge is "Taken at Bremen, August 1901." T are several condition issues as his photos were stored in the basement. The sepia tones are a bit light or faded but overall still good clarity and detail. T is overall light soiling, small stains, light scuffs and scratches, trimmed edge, 1.25" tear in from right edge, water stain on reverse, lays flat, overall still in good sturdy condition considering the age and size and would be great framed.
