I apologize but I know next to knownothing about this lovely portrait brooch. It's a reproduction in the Baroque style of a lovely beauty from yesteryear.The portrait of the woman looks familiar to me. If you know who she is please email me and let me know if you recognize her.It's difficult for me to know what this brooch is made of--it has no markings so I assume it's gold-plated mystery metal accented on the top with faux pearls. It must be almost 3 inches long. Is this some kind of decal attached to a hard china surface? The portrait of the woman almost looks like a cameo. I have no idea what it's made of but it's very striking with a Renaissance feel.Seller takes paypal, shipping is $5.90 priority mail. Thank you.
