This item is the 1913 edition of the Batavia (Illinois) High School yearbook, the B.H.S.. It measures 8" X 11" and has a blue paper cover with the pages held together by cord. T are 144 pages of pictures, text and ads. T are individual pictures of the 19 members of the class of 1913 as well as group pictures of the other classes. T is also a listing of the alumni of the high school, dating back to 1874. Naturally t are also photos of the various sports teams and other student activities. Of special interest are the ads from Batavia businesses, including Kee & Chapell Dairy; Chelstrom, the Shoe Man; and the Island Restaurant. T are also ads from businesses in Aurora and Geneva. Sprinkled throughout the yearbook are a number of charming naive drawings. Condition is good with some wear to the cover.
