This lighted Bates Motel sign is a must-have for any fans of the movie Psycho or of the director Alfred Hitchcock. The "Bates Motel" portion stays lighted the whole time, but the "Vacancy" portion is fitted with flickering bulbs that give off an eerie feeling. The sign plugs in to any standard outlet (two-prong plug) and can be turned on and off, so you can leave it plugged in all of the time. It is hung by a black plastic chain. The front portion of the sign clips onto the backing and is easy to remove when a bulb needs to be replaced. The sign is in excellent shape. It would be wonderful to have hanging year-round or to use as a spooky Halloween decoration!
