Mainly as we are huge batman fans and sculpters and were lucky enough to go and have a hands on look at the real Batsuit as well as meet a Michael Caine lookalike :) we were able to do an examination of Batman's, Catwoman's and Bane's screen used original costumes taking measurements and detailed notes on all three, so we decided to make a true replica of The Dark Knight Rises Cowl and Neck Armour. The cowl and neck armour have been sculpted and the moulded in one piece so there are no lines in the back or anywhere else where they wouldn't belong. The cowl and neck are cast into a strongly black pigmented 40 shore polyurethane rubber, which is strong enough to hold it's shape, yet flexible enough to be worn comfortably and non-allergenic (as opposed to latex for instance).
