Comic Book Item Description This is a fantastic lot! Batman Issues #426, 427, 428 and 429, published in December 1988 through January 1989. This is the complete set for "A Death in the Family." Written by Jim Starlin, Penciller Jim Aparo, and Inker Mike DeCarlo, this is a landmark set of books that includes the death of Robin II. These books are in great condition - I would estimate NM-. The covers are flat and shiny, no spine roll. #429 has some slight creasing at the center staple. I am being picky - these books look great. All together, these four books are valued at about $58 at NM- condition. I am starting them at a low bid price with no reserve. Bid with confidence!
