Features on one face HMS Victory with 'Victory, Trafalgar, October 21, 1805 and the immortal words of Nelson "England Expects Every Man will do His Duty " and:" Thank God I have Done my Duty " around the periphery of the face. Reverse side features Horatio Nelson atop a scroll inscribed :"Death of Nelson, October 1805" and "Centenary Momento, October 21, 1905" On periphery of face are the words " Presented by British and Foreign Sailors Society" and "Containing Victory Copper from the Lords of the Admiralty". Coin has small drill hole through top edge but is in otherwise very good condition.
