Rare Bausch & Lomb 1941 WW II U.S. Navy Binocular with Case Hello. For your bidding pleasure today we have . . . an exciting find . . . a rare WW II BAUSCH & LOMB U.S. NAVY BINOCULAR in excellent condition. The top on the left case is marked 7 x 50 in white. Stamped into the casing it appears to say PORT 3 . On the top of the right hand case it is marked in white U.S. NAVY BU SHIPS, MK.1 MOD.2, SER . Also on the right side in raised letters is BAUSCH & LOMB, OPT. CO, ROCHESTER, N.Y. U.S.A .. On the bottom of the center axle is marked DES. PAT. 83834 SER U-3268 . The weather-proof hard CASE has an adjustable neck/shoulder strap that goes all the way around it. The top of the case is embossed with BAUSCH & LOMB, U.S.A. and set in a triangular embossed frame. T is also a strap on the back to allow the case to be secured to a belt. The top also has an integrated strap for hand carrying. The case top is secured by a strap that fastens on the bottom side of the case. CONDITION: It is hard to believe that these are 66 years old. They are in excellent over-all condition. I am looking to be critical in my condition description but they are special. You will be very pleased. I don't think you will find a better pair.
