Bayonet WWII German M84/98 Bayonet w/ Scabbard This genuine WWII era German Model 1884/98 Knife Bayonet with metal scabbard features a 9.75" single edge blade; 15" overall length. The lug release works and the blade is in very good condition; also has a 'birds head' pommel and brown Bakelite grip plates. The fullered steel blade is stamped on the Ricasso with "W.K.C." maker's mark and the SN "4100 C". There are two Waffen markings stamped near the pommel. The metal scabbard has a matching SN and leather frog are in very good condition for their age. Bayonets like this where often engraved for veterans as a present from their comrades to remember their service in a division or battle group.
