Colors run from a golden rind to a darker center completely full of round cell structure typical of quality tempskya. This fern wood round comes from the Greenhorns near Baker City. Pictured wet, the slab measures 4 inches by 2 3/4 inches and is 6 mm thick.. When polished, it would make an outstanding specimen of a very rare wood type. Don't miss this one! Thanks for looking!
