The red Dalek is the classic Dalek drone, the foot-soldier of the evil alien race. The yellow Dalek is the Eternal Dalek whose function remains as yet surrounded in mystery. Once wound up, the Daleks patrol around in different directions and look from left to right as they watches out for any enemies that need to meet their end at the force of their Death Ray. These wind-ups are officially licensed by the BBC.
