A BEAUTIFUL SLAB OF FABULOUS ROYAL DESCHUTES PICTURE JASPER. I CALL IT ROYAL BECAUSE DESCHUTES, ALONG WITH BIGGS HAS LONG BEEN RECOGNIZED AS THE "KINGS" OF PICTURE JASPERS. It has beautiful colors a gorgeous slate gray sky, out of this world patterns and delicate dendrites in just the right places. It measures 3" by 3" and is 3/16th inch thick. It is solid with no cracks or soft spots..........................................................................Todays tips and hints: If you have a slab of cabbing grade material that is too thick ie:3/8th to 1/2 inch, you can first cut out the cab basic shape and then fairly easily split it on your trim saw.................My complaint for the day: most semi-precious stone comes in many different grades, from beautiful to down right ugly. I hate it when someone puts up a realy ugly piece of Biggs then proclaims it to be, stunning, fabulous, primo etc. Rock buyers are not blind so the pictures, if they are of good quality is what sells a stone.
