Selling off collection model cars and kits bBurago 1954 Mercedes Benz 300SL 1/24 scale made in Italy, this diecast metal car model has been pre-owned and was for display only. Wing doors lift open on both sides as well as the hood and the trunk-see photo. Rubber wheels, 2 windshield wipers and back lights, are just a few of all the details on this model. On the back trunk there is a manufacture paint blemish that was shipped that way to collector. Not considered a defect. This car is being sold without the box, but if the box shows up after going through storage, I will contact the buyer and they will have to pay for shipping costs only. Since there is no box, I will need to use more wrapping etc for shipping, thus the shipping cost, also, delivery confirmation is included in shipping. bBurago is an Italian model car manufacturer, based in Burago di Molgora , Italy, which manufactured model cars from 1976 to 2005, and then under the May Cheong group since 2007. Called Martoys from 1974 to 1976, the company was founded by Mario, Ugo, and Martino Besana, who had previously started Mebetoys , which they sold to Mattel . Martoys was renamed Bburago in 1976. Bburago (with two "B's") is the correct spelling, ostensibly standing for both the town name as well as the Besana family. Keep or give as a gift to start up a new collector. read more
