Beam Compass / Trammel Points Generally as pictured Appearing to have no makers marks Appearing to be nickel plated or similar One of the bodies has a fine adjustment screw Each leg is held in place with a small screw with the leg prevented from turning or twisting odd shaped locating hole as pictured This set consists of two bodies to clamp onto a beam ( there is no beam) but any suitable rule or straight edge would suffice one leg with " needle point " one leg with a lead fitted and a leg that would be used for drawing with ink. The other body has a leg with a needle point Each needle point is about 37mm long and double ended The slot that the beam would fit into is about 5.5mm wide All in a green lined leather effect box that measures about 69mm x 85mm x 30mm ( although it fits into this box I am unsure whether this box was origianly supplied with the heads) This item weighs with lined box pictured about 166grams before packing This is an old used tool with marks and wear that come with time and use.
