THE BEANO BOOK 1953 HARDBACK D C THOMSON & CO LTD THE BEANO BOOK 1953 Annual (Published 12/1952; Cover depicts; Jack Flash carrying characters on trips to the Moon; Comics include; Biffo the Bear, Pansy Potter, Have a Go Joe, Wee Peem's magic pills, Postie Hastie, Dennis the Menace, Willie's Wonder Gun, Skinny Flint, Ding-Dong Belle, Maxi's Taxi, Sammi's Super Rubber, Magic Lollipops, Race to the Moon; Stories include; Bucktooth, Jack Flash & the Terrible Twins, Lord Snooty, Jack & his magic patch, the Iron Fish, Tricks of Tom Thumb, Hawk-Eye bravest of the Braves, Sinbad the Sailor, Tick-Tock Tony,Wily Ways of Simple Simon; Stories include; Clockwork Cop, the Bird Boy, Smarty Smokey, Sooty Solomon, Jack of Clubs, Waltzing Matilda,Wangles of Green Granny, Gingers Magic Ear) SCARCE title. There is some wear and tear on the front and back cover corners and some wear and tear type damage to the spine. Biffo's ear has been coloured in. There is also a small brown stain on the inside back cover as can be seen in the photograph. However, having said that the inside pages are in very good condition, no colouring, tears or damage. The "this belongs to" has not been completed. I am not a collector we are just having a clear out of stuff we have accumulated over the years and therefore please do ask any questions prior to bidding.
