Hi t For your consideration: "Beasties" Coloring Book, written by Malcolm Whyte. Illustrated by Vernon Koski, Troubador Press, San Francisco 1970. Front cover is beautifully illustrated in color with unicorn and medieval woman with flowing white gown. Inside are 15 intricate drawings of different mythical figures. These are: the Griffin, Sea Serpent, Pegasus, Mermaid, Satyr, Horus, Chimera, Phoenix, Ganesha, Unicorn, Genie, Dragon, Quetzalcoatl, Devil and Beauty and the Beast. The back cover states "The Beasties Coloring Book offers a unique artistic experience for the whole family. It is printed on heavy duty vellum for coloring with ink, watercolor, crayon, colored pencil, felt-tip pen, pastel or acrylic paints." This coloring book is quite a unique and fascinating bit of 1970 mythical magic memorabilia, and is in near-mint, completely clean unused condition. Just a very slight bend on upper right front corner. I prefer paypal, but accept money orders and personal checks, to clear before shipping. Thanks for looking, and have a great day!
