This is an original U.K. HMV issued box set of Abbey Road issued in 1987 during the initial release of the Beatles recordings on compact disc. I personally purchased this HMV box set while in England during the 20th anniversary release of Sgt. Pepper. HMV record stores issued all of the Beatles CD in a 12' x 12" collectors box in 1987. This set includes the UK issue of the CD, a collector's button, a booklet discussing the Abbey Road album, and two posters of the front and back covers of the album. The CD has not been played. Box is in mint- condition.
