BEATLES JOHN LENNONS QUARRYMENAUTOGRAPHED SHEET I was part of a group of people who helped organise a re-creation of the Woolton fete in Liverpool, in 1997. This celebrated the 40th anniversay of the day John met Paul in 1957. Part of this event involved getting John Lennon's original Quarrymen back together to play at the event. The event was superb and I became good friends with the Quarrymen. To say thanks to everyone who helped we decided to sign a number of A4 sheets so everyone could have a copy. These were signed by the organisers as well as Geoff Rhind who took the original famous photos of the Quarrymen in 1957 and ALL FIVE QUARRYMEN. John Lennons best friend Pete Shotton, Rod Davis, Colin Hanton, Len Gary and the late and much missed Eric Griffiths. We all sat around a table and batch signed 20 or so sheets that I had printed with the logo and info on the left hand side. I believed I had sold the remaining copies a few years back but I am now preparing to move house and lots of things are turning up including an envelope with several more signed sheets, one of which I am selling here.
