This SUPERB Set is 100% COMPLETE, with TWO ORIGINAL UK FIRST ISSUE MONO VINYL LPs, Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle, an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, Two ORIGINAL MATT BLACK INNER BAGS, The set is housed within its ORIGINAL, First Issue, Fully Laminated TOP OPENING, NUMBERED GATEFOLD Sleeve. LP Description: The TWO First Issue MONO Vinyl LPs are on the traditional DARK GREEN Apple label, with ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale. ‘with NO, E.M.I. Recording label reference, and with ‘Mfd. In UK’ label text to all four sides of the record labels. All four record labels are in undamaged Excellent condition, clean labels, showing a few light centre spindle lines on each side. Disc 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1 & Side 2: XEX 710-1 . Disc 1, Side 1 stampers: 3 MT & Side 2 stampers are: 7 LG . Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: XEX 711-3 & Side 4: XEX 712-1 . Disc 2, Side 3 stampers: 2 P & Side 4 stampers: 1 T . There is an embossed KT Tax Code on side 3 record label. All four sides of the vinyl discs are in Very Good Plus condition, the vinyl surfaces are bright and clean, showing several light surface hairline scratches, none of these surface scratches are feelable. Both of the black inner bags show tearing and seam splits, and sellotape repairs. ….And are housed in it’s fully laminated Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold Sleeve. This first issue Sleeve is TOP OPENING and NUMBERED 0033930 , printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal black and white portraits of each of The Beatles together with the track listing. The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good Plus condition, the sleeve is firm with no major damage and shows, some mild age toning, light corner bumps, light laminate pinches, and a small crease to the bottom right corner (see scan). The inside gatefold part and reverse of the sleeve are fine with just light age toning and light handling signs. There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle, the photographs are in Excellent condition, no damage or pinholes, a nice set of photographs. And the ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, also in Excellent condition, there are a few tiny tears at the bottom edge, and a couple of small tears to the folds, but nothing major, there are no pin holes on the poster, and just some creasing around the natural folds. Play Quality: Having played both LPs, all FOUR sides play well throughout, with some light mild background crackle on the quieter tracks, and the occasional light Not surprisingly, Beatles UK White album MONOS are EXTREMELY SOUGHT AFTER, and this is a respectable example.
