Beattie chrome jet lighter. Has the Evans and Phillips patent numbers, 2242906 and 2433707, which I believe makes it one of the older lighters from 1947 forward. This sturdy lighter is in pretty good shape for its age with the normal wear and tear scratches, but does have one place on the base where the chrome is missing. The lighter comes in the original box with the instruction leaflet. It also has the probe for the jet in its original package. These are very interesting lighters with both a regular flame for cigarettes and cigars and the jet lighter for pipes.
