This is Beautiful Brass Cherub Oil Lamp with a Glass Base and Reservoir and an etched glass chimney each of four feet are brass with engraved markings and the Cherub has markings also the burner says W . W. KOSMOS and an Aladdin Lamp See Close up of Wick Adjustment Screw picture 10 & 11 It has N o Maker's Mark it may remain a mystery It is from an estate of a dear friend who has passed on I think this is exactly what she would want me to do offer it to the highest bidder I have no idea of it's age or origin It is a thing of beauty! A very nice lamp at a very nice price Any Info Appreciated the reservoir has seven diamond cut bands running at a vertical slant each section screws in snuggly the Cherub is detailed down to his finger and toe nails I did not touch the Patina lightly sprayed with Windex each and every part and posed them for pictures the base has four matching diamond cut bands the wick may be in there the clamps will not grab enough of it to bring it up may be turning to dust at this point Not a major issue it has heavy brass rounded feet each with button tops liners and washers (they don't make 'em like this any more) The more I look at this the better it looks the chimney has four rows of etched feathers and flowers running vertically with four rows of
