FRENCH TABLE Beautiful authentic antique French table. This table is beautiful!! I bought this from a local antique dealer and he said that it was from France and was late 19th early 20th century.Shows normal age effects and has a few nudges to the wood--can be repaired with wood glue and a big book. The table is very clever--when closed it measures 49.25 inches long by 39.25 inches wide. When you pull out the attached two leaves which hide underneath the table it elongates to 81.75 inches long. It is at all times 32 inches tall. The color is a darker finish, I would call it more of a warm brown mahoghany color. I do not know the wood. It is elegantly carved on the legs and has four inset panels on the top. When I purchased it from the antique dealer I paid $1200. So you get a steal! I would LOVE local pick up! enjoy!
