Up for bid is this beautiful antique celluloid tri-fold mirror from the late 1800's. This piece is all original and has been in one family. The frame is solid brass and has developed a wonderful patina over the years. The feet are all intact, as is the clasp to hold the mirror shut when folded. T are two Victorian women pictured in gardens on two of the back panels. The colors are a sage green with cream and pink throughout the drawings. Very beautiful and serene. The third panel is black cardboard. The mirrors are in very good condition with some silvering in the middle mirror and a touch around the edges of the other two mirrors. The brass chain is still intact. The celluloid and cardboard backs have come out of the frame on some of the edges and need to be put back in. I did not attempt to fix this as I do not know how and don't want to hurt the value or beauty of the celluloid panels. Please refer to the pics below. Each panel measures 8.5" x 10.75" and weight is 6 pounds before packaging. This is a beautiful treasure! I am more than happy to email more pics to you if needed. I have dial-up and as it is will take one hour to upload the 5 pictures I have included in this listing! I attempt to describe each item as accurately as possible. Please feel free to email me if you have questions as I might overlook something that is read more
