Beautiful Flowers on Black PreWWII Meisen Silk Panel Description : Lots of great new panels this month as well as those that you may have missed in previous ones. Enjoy browsing! MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLICK THE PICTURES FOR LARGER IMAGES!!!!! This is a beautiful, tasteful, Pre WWII meisen silk in a base shade of black. The flower/foliage clusters are kiku, momji and a leaf I cannot identify. These motifs are rendered in grey and pale gold with accent lines in deep rusty red. Because this is a meisen silk it is thinner in nature and has a slightly crisp hand, but because it is a lighter weight silk, it still retains a good drape. This piece is in awesome condition. Hard to believe that it is as old as it is. All of my fabrics come from kimonos that have been carefully taken apart, threads picked out and then nicely pressed. Dimensions:
