A Wonderful Keepsake for a Good Cause! This is a one-a-kind beautiful handmade reverseable quilt by reknowned quilt-maker Layne Shay. It features elaborate stitching that compliments the symmetrical floral pattern perfectly. It would look great on a bed, or as a large framed art-piece. This quilt is appraised at $800.00 and is titled "Log Cabin". The quilt is clean and has never been used. I have a 7 year old Autistic son, Kyle, that until about 2 years ago did not talk at all, have any social skills, and had meltdowns at least twice a day. Now he can express himself verbally, ask for things by name, reads books aloud, plays with other children, and his meltdowns are few and far between! This is because 2 years ago he started receiving specialized services at school for autistic children. Kyle is one of the lucky few, however, as we have found that most public school districts across the country do not have the funding or experience for such classrooms. A lot of people have to pay good money to get their kids services by professionals trained to work specifically with autistic children.
