Absolutely beautiful! This old Dutch Frisian Friesian tail wall clock contains an eight day movement and it chimes on the half and full hour. We have tested the clock, the clockwork is in good condition and works fine. Walnut case with internal pendulum. Brass Father Time ornament in the tail. The clock has a glass door in front of the dial. Lovely decorated dial with the scene of Dutch sailing boat and wind mills. The moon dial on top indicates the position of the moon. The clock has 3 brass statues on top - Atlas carrying the world and two angels heralding his arrival. On both sides of the case - tail - brass pins on chains to secure the case. This clock measures approximately 30 inches tall including statues, 7 inches wide and 5 ½ inches deep. The wooden case and brass ornaments are in excellent condition and have a great patina.
