is a beautiful Music/Jewelry Box from Reuge of Italy. Reuge inlays beautiful floral arrays with different kinds and colors of woods that make it stand out as a classic among music box makers. The octagonal box is laquered to a beautiful glimmering finish. The border of the top octagon is also inlaid with a lighter wood to frame the floral bouquet for and everlasting image that adds even more style to the music box. It is covered with red velvet on the inside to keep your jewelry and keepsakes scratch-free. These are among the finest inlaid music boxes in the world. Each series comes with a different melody. This box plays "Waltz of the Flowers through the finest swiss musical movement. The box itself is 7 3/4 inches high with its four legs and stands 2 1/4 inches tall. This would make a great gift for that "special someone" or be a real asset to any wood box collection. T are a few very small surface scratches and one small scratch/dent on the side. T is also three small fisure cracks that run all the way across the underside of the top of the box. The bottom one is caused by the way the wood is naturally made. the other two hardly get to the wood , they are mainly cracks in the coating that run along the grain of the wood. One doesn't even go all the way across. I point ths out in the last two photos. This is truly a gem of a music
