Up for auction is a gorgeous marbled green Montegrappa fountain pen with a sterling silver overlay and, of course, a gorgeous 2-tone gold nib (medium). The photos pretty much tell the story of what the pen looks like (wich is beautiful), and I will attest to the fact that it writes like a dream: buttery smooth nib, even and steady ink flow. It is a cartridge filler, but will also take a converter (the original converter for the pen is long since gone, and not included, but you can pick one up at pretty much any place that sells fountain pens. It takes the standard international size). The pen is almost exactly 5 inches long, and has a nice heft to it. Fits quite nicely in the hand, posted or not. T are no dings, dents, cracks, gouges, etc. Looks like it did when it was new.I also have the original papers and box for the pen. The box is quite cool, and has a handy drawer for storing extra in cartridges if you want.My pictures aren't the best, but they are pretty high resolution, so be sure to use the supersize option. You'll probably be able to see quite a bit of detail.Interested buyers should bid early, often, and high. Or snipe it, whichever you prefer. From a seller's point of view, I prefer to see the early, often, and high method -- I find it a bit more encouraging. Thanks again for checking out my listing. Also, please take read more
