is the other beautiful old frame that I obtained from and estate sale. It appears to be made of brass and can really use a good polishing as I am leaving the patina as it is since I read that's what most buyers prefer. The frame itself measures approx. 25" x 16" while the inside glass area measures approx. 19" x 13" with a thicker convex rounded glass covering an all metal backing. The ornate designs trim four sections, both top and bottom as well as the sides. I do notice upon close inspection with a magnifying glass that the bottom part w a tiny bump should be (that matches the top) looks to have been broken off but it looks like that's the way it's suppose to look. Look at the second pic. which is the top and then look at the fourth pic. which is the bottom. It doesn't look at all like anything is missing by the way the leaf is curled and how it matches the side trim. I would have never known in looking at the frame that the tiny piece was missing as I still have to look with a magnifying glass to make sure. T is an old metal wire attached on the back so the frame is ready to hang. The back metal panel needs to be removed to better clean the inside of the glass but again, I will leave that to the new buyer as all I did was windex the front of the glass frame and wipe off the dust on the back as it was very dirty.
