I am listing some items that I cannot really display, and I am beginning to list these pieces at a fairly reasonable buy it now price since I have had them for a quite a time and I really do not remember what I paid for them. I am hoping someone will appreciate and display it more than being stored or in a closet or a case. I will be listing uniforms and other U.S. WW2 army AAF and Navy items. In addition, I will also be listing RAF RCAF and other Army Air Force items. Please take a look at my other auctions as some of these items are quite uncommon and would benefit a collection greatly. Thank you so much for looking and please bid with confidence as I take all of my transactions seriously and will go out of my way to assure customer satisfaction.For auction is an extremely pretty ladies powder compact that is most likely a sweetheart piece for a wife or sweetheart of a sailor in the Royal Navy during WW2. This is unique as I have never come across sweetheart jewlery that was specific to a ship. The compact in addition to the HMS Decoy emblem on the center has wonderful intricate detail throughout the entire piece, please see the photos as I have taken many. I did some research on the HMS Decoy, and the ship was a D class Destroyer in the Royal Navy during WW2 and was a submarine hunter for a most of her service in the Royal Navy.
