I am auctioning a Beaver Creek Sumpter Valley caboose # 6 (the straight cupola) in On3. This is a rare model of the Sumpter Valley's caboose- will work behind an SV mallet, a D&RGW #50, or Oregon Lumber's #7 Shay- but it makes for a great caboose for that freelance railroad. A great model from Beaver Creek with their fantastic detailing- you won't believe the trucks (nylon bearings in the frames and plated wheels!) complete with the chains... all in all a fantastic model done at pinnacle of Beaver Creek's imports. I got this from a hobby shop that closed- there is tarnish on the model and one of the brake hoses (typical Beaver Creek- it is underscale) is missing. There is one loose ladder that needs re-soldering on the roof- that is pretty good for a model that is this old (1992), and is easily re-soldered. This is an outstanding model being sold for what I paid for it- I have these models already so I don't need the duplicates. This is in the original box with great foam, and will be well-packed for shipment.
