Victor Musical Masterpiece Set AM-134 (3-12" scrollgold label discs 7571/3 in 1941 Victor Musical Masterpiece Set M-134.Final side: Beethoven: Minuet in G -Casals/ Schulhof. Recorded 1930 this isa phonographic classic in which Casals shows that the 'cello can be just asexpressive as the violin. One of the rare glimpses of Casals in hisprime. The CD transfer sounds"boxy" by comparison. Mint condition.From the private collection of R. Peter Munves, who was in the record business as well as an avid collector for over 50 years and has decided to part with his beloved collection. All albums are from the late 20’s to early 40’s, and many are original, 1st editions containing pristine pressings from the golden age of 78’s.
