This sale includes one GE Olympic pin set for the Beijing Olympics. This Beijing Olympic pin set was presented to VIP guests at the GE pavillion on the Olympic Green in Beijing. Each pin is a small silk pouch mounted on a tack pinback. Each pouch pin is a different color and has the GE logo and Beijing Olympic logo (and Olympic rings) embroidered in white silk thread. Inside each pouch is a small piece of carved jade on which one of five Chinese text symbols representing metal, wood, water, fire and earth, five elements. This beautiful Olympic presentation souvenir is in its original presentation folder (slight creases from packing for the long journey home from China) and each Olympic sponsor pin pouch as three small jade beads mounted on red silk. This is a very unusual keepsake Olympic pin set for the 2008 Olympics. The front cover has the Birds Nest Olympic Stadium and the Olympic rings.
