1940s/1950s BELL & HOWELL 35mm EYEMO>MOVIE CAMERA 110v AC/DC MOTOR! This listing is for one 110v ac/dc motor for a Bell & Howell Eyemo 35mm movie camera. This legendary camera, used by the United States military for decades, is still used today by many film makers. This particular camera motor was made for military use and was built to military specifications. According to the markings and tags found on this motor and other units that came with it, this equipment was used by E.G.& G., doing work for the Atomic Energy Commission. A marking of AFSWP on the camera, which stands for Armed Forces Special Weapons Project, dates the Air Force usage of this equipment as being between 1947 and 1955.Out of an abundance of caution, as it is safe to assume this equipment was used to film atomic weapon detonations, we had this equipment checked for residual radioactivity by qualified local emergency responders.
