This cookie jar with its bell shape and slogan, "ring bell for cookies" is light hearted and wonderfully cleaver. When the cover is lifted one sees a jingle bell attached for the cookie snacker to ring. It is perfect for the cookie jar collector. It is a vintage piece by American Buisque, with USA marked on the bottom rim. American Bisque was in production from 1919 to 1973 in Williamstown West Virginia. It has a few craze mark on the glaze which is typical for this era. This a small hair line crack on the lid clanking, but no chips. Otherwise it is in very good condition. It stands about 12 inches tall and is 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The once vibrant colors are pleasing but have faded slightly, which is not uncommon in a nice vintage piece like this one. It should make a great addition to anyones collection. Check out my other items ! Check out my other items !
