Welcome, Thank you For Coming By This Auction Features: A Bell System ' Western Electric '#F-1 Vintage Desktop Bakalite Enamel Dial Telephone, 1930s-40s ..An Excellent Operating Old Bell Telephone .Color is Panther Black .The Body and The inside Mechanics are vintage Excellent.T is an Oh' so Tiny Flea Bite on the inside of the Receiver cap w the top cap screws Off..you would actually need to Put your eyeball on the inside of this area to even see it.. it is inside the Receiver cap itself, not outside.The Phone and cord/s has some 'Time' Residue, Fading and a few scratch/scuff on the Body, and some Minor wear on a Few No#s {'The No#1 is almost/is gone' } But-{ 'Please see Pics for more detail, Telephone is Exactly as shown' } Nothing major and is/would be considered Normal and Original Patina for an Old Bell Telephone that was actually Used at One time, and is what collectors Look for, that tells a History and is Very Minor and Mentioned for Detailed Description Purposes .The Phone will Need a Polish-{ I do Not clean nor polish items such as this as collectors Dislike the Practice }-The Enamel Dial is Great without any cracks, Etc. The Dialer is Tight and Not Loose on its Base and dials very smooth with that very familiar sound and Ring tone , you May Remember.The Phone comes from the Private estate of a Retired Service Repairman or Salesman From The San Francisco Area , Of California ..I have Personally checked the Phone Out and It Operates Excellent .The Cord/s are included .The Body has No Chips , No Cracks , No Breaks .. Very Streamlined Deco Influenced Telephone , That is also Considered Art , when including style , Look and ' Era '.The Last time the Phone was used was in the Late 60s . you can see this from the 7 digit phone No# That was last used and also from what the previous Owner told me. and as you will Obviously know , that 7 digit Phone No#s were Not used when this Phone was Originally Issued.T were 4-5 digits Originally when this Telephone was issued .These are getting very Hard To find Now ..No Bad or Rusted internal/External Parts.
