BELL TABLE TELEPHONE A very popular classic design fromAntwerp in Belgium made by the Bell factory in the 1940’s and 50.s and was bought from all over Europe. The body of the phone is made from metal and the handset is bakelite, it has a gold inlay pattern situated on top of the body on either side and is complemented with a brass carrying handle. This phone has been restored to a high standard, we have dismantled all the components, and the metal body has been professionally powder coated, finished in British racing green. The handset and cradle have been highly polished as has the brass carrying handle. We have fitted a modern microphone to improve speech quality; the receiver performs as well as any modern telephone. The dial has been calibrated on test equipment to perform on both cable and BT networks and has a polished brass fingerplate. You would have to travel a long way to own such a good example of this piece of history, there are two of these fantastic telephones for sale, the other one has been finished in Fire engine red. These table telephones are a limited edition and therefore you will not get a better chance of owning such a quality item.
