Fresh from a southern California estate comes this rare find. In the 15+ years I've been in the biz, I've never seen an example of Irish Belleek combining 3 different glazes or glaze styles all on one piece. The highly detailed sleeping infant or sleeping child is in a matte finish bisque or unglazed, his or her blanket has the trademark iridescent glow to the glaze (as does the inner part of base,) while the rest of the piece is hi-glaze cream. Child sleeping on a charming basket of fruit. Mint, as new, unused condition! Has green mark underneath. Overall measures approx. 4 1/2" across and approx. 2 7/8" to top of child's head.
